Job description
Position Purpose: The SEO Specialist role is responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining & optimizing accounts/websites on top of the search pages of search engines.
Assist in daily operations of various online marketing initiatives, including SEO keyword research, on-page & off-page optimization, image & video optimization.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation.
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Engage in link building activities, including advising and working with editorial and marketing teams on social media plans and activities.
Continuously update knowledge of SEO best practices and latest trends, sharing learnings with relevant team members to enhance marketing efforts.

Person Specification:
Essential Requirements:
The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.
A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO.
Strong understanding of website development & coding, as well as a fundamental grasp of Digital Marketing.
Google Analytics Certified.
