IT Manger

SUMMARY

The IT Manager plays a crucial role in steering the company towards its technological goals. This leadership position involves overseeing all information systems and ensuring that user requirements are met. Key responsibilities for the IT Manager include:

• Supervising the planning and implementation of information systems

• Coordinating IT needs with middle management

• Ensuring efficiency of corporate network LAN, WAN, and VPN

• Providing technical advice during IT component purchases

• Establishing disaster recovery plans

• Managing IT operations and functions

• Optimizing IT operations and solving end-user problems

• Planning IT personnel and user training

• Overseeing IT projects and first-line support activities

• Maintaining relationships with IT vendors

• Ensuring safety and security of the IT infrastructure

• Researching and evaluating new technologies

• Running network and data security checks

• Identifying opportunities to improve software and systems

• Developing and implementing IT policies and best practices

• Conducting regular system audits

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, from a renowned university

Experience:

• 5 years of experience in the IT industry, in managerial positions, preferably IT Manager, IT Director, or CIO

• Experience with Oracle technology

  • Oracle E-business Suite

  • Oracle database management system

• Solid experience in project management and daily IT operation support

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of agile project management and software development life cycle (SDLC) would be an advantage

• Knowledge of machine learning, AI and big data technology landscape

• Knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL would be a plus
