Localized Brand Strategy Manager

This role focuses on developing and executing localized brand strategies to drive growth, increase market share, and enhance brand equity in the highly competitive Egyptian health, beauty, and skincare market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cosmeceutical industry, particularly in the panthenol-based product segment, as well as Egyptian consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Localized Brand Strategy Development:

    • Define and implement brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies tailored to the Egyptian market, with a focus on differentiating our panthenol-based products in a crowded marketplace.

    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights specific to Egypt to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

  • Marketing Campaigns for the Egyptian Market:

    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and retail channels to drive brand awareness and sales in Egypt.

    • Develop culturally relevant content, including product launches, advertising, and educational materials, that highlights the unique benefits of panthenol and resonates with Egyptian consumers.

  • Product Innovation for Local Needs:

    • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to identify market trends and consumer needs specific to Egypt, ensuring new panthenol-based products align with local preferences and environmental factors (e.g., sun exposure, humidity).

    • Lead the commercialization process for new product launches, including pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies tailored to the Egyptian market.

  • Consumer Engagement in Egypt:

    • Build and nurture relationships with Egyptian consumers through engaging storytelling, community building, and personalized experiences.

    • Leverage social media, local influencers, and partnerships to amplify brand reach and credibility in Egypt, emphasizing the science behind panthenol and its benefits for Egyptian skin types.

  • Performance Analysis and Optimization:

    • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, including sales, market share, and ROI of marketing initiatives in Egypt.

    • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve brand performance in the local market.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with sales, e-commerce, and retail teams to ensure alignment on brand objectives and execution in Egypt.

    • Collaborate with regulatory and legal teams to ensure compliance with Egyptian industry standards and guidelines.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in brand management within the cosmeceutical industry, with a strong focus on active-ingredient-driven skincare products.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns in competitive markets, preferably in Egypt or the MENA region.

  • Deep understanding of the Egyptian cosmeceutical market, including regulatory requirements, consumer trends, and cultural preferences.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Arabic and English.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and digital marketing platforms.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and consumer-centric solutions tailored to the Egyptian market.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
